Feb 28-29, 2004: Three hearty soles braved the elements to make an assault on the San Francisco Peaks. Well, OK, they at least got to snowshoe a few miles in on FR522 and make camp in time for nightfall. Yup, it was a mere 15F that blustery evening. We call it a success because nobody lost any toes and we even made it to Beaver St. Brewery for the traditional post-hike revelry.
