Horton Creek Beginner Backpacking Trip

Have you ever wanted to try backpacking but not sure what it's like? Have you backpacked but still don't think you have your gear together?? Well, this will be a beginning backpack trip so YOU, yes YOU, can try it out! Horton Creek trail is an easy way to begin. We can take our time, visit the creek as often as we'd like and even walk along the creek rather than the trail at times. On Sat. we will backpack in, find a suitable campsite, set up, then hike on to the spring or spend time around camp exploring. Sunday we can take another hike to explore the area then pack up and hike out. P.S. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A BEGINNER TO JOIN US! Veteran and Rookie backpackers welcome!!

Distance (RT): 6.7 mi
Water: Bring at least 2 liters of water
