West Fork Canyoneering Trip

Time to go canyoneering again! This time we will be traveling the entire length of the West Fork of Oak Creek. With tall red sandstone walls, this canyon is truly spectacular. Waterfalls, pools and narrows add to its beauty. We’ll probably camp at the drop in point Friday night. Saturday night we’ll camp in the canyon. I plan to do a recon trip about 2 weeks prior. Details will be finalized then

Start Elevation: 6500 ft
Elevation Gain: 100 ft
Distance (RT): 14 mi
Drive Time: 4 hr
Meeting Place/Time: 1:00 PM Pyle Recreation Center, 1:45 PM Denny’s at I17 & Bell

Boulder scrambling, swimming and a sense of adventure required. More information will be e-mailed out.
